  1. Arnold Mycock - Good-bye Sweet Friend

Arnold Mycock - Good-bye Sweet Friend

With deep sadness, CapeHomepage.com acknowledges the passing of legendary Cotuit Kettleers, and Cape Cod Baseball League, volunteer, Arnold W. Mycock, who died in his home, surrounded by his family, just a short distance from his beloved Lowell Park, on Friday, April 22, 2016.  He was 92.  Arnold volunteered for the Cotuit Kettleers of the Cape Cod Baseball League for 66 years.  That is 16 years longer than I have been alive, and it is a very long time.  Many people knew Arnold for decades

In late February, local birder Steve Arena, spotted a Yellow-billed Loon in the ocean waters off Race Point in Provincetown.  The bird has continued through the first week of March, 2016, giving bird enthusiasts a chance to see the first ever known visit of this large loon to Massachusetts. Massachusetts, and Cape Cod in particular, have a high concentration of people

  4. Yarmouth St. Patrick's Day Parade

    Yarmouth St. Patrick's Day Parade

The 11th annual Yarmouth St. Patrick's Day Parade took place on Saturday, March 5, 2016.  The weather was cold and blustery, but thousands lined the parade route along Route 28 to celebrate all things Irish.  Marching bag pipe bands, floats, media personalities, elected officials, and even Chester, from the famous local radio commercials, all made appearances.  Check out the photo album (right) and parade video (below) to look back on a chilly, but festive, day of Irish celebration in Yarmouth,
